If you create podcasts, interviews, tutorials, product reviews, webinars, or YouTube videos, you probably know the problem: you finish the long video — and then the work starts again.
You have to search through the footage, find interesting moments, cut them, turn them vertical, and decide which clips are worth posting on TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
That is one of the problems we are working on with AiMedia Clips.
I recently went through the complete workflow. Here is what it looks like from beginning to end.
Start With One Long Video
From the AiMedia Clips homepage, start with a supported video link or upload a video directly. The idea is simple: bring the long video and let AI help find the short-form opportunities inside it. Click Start free to begin.
Sign In and Start Creating
Continue with Google or sign in with your account. There is deliberately not much to learn here — get into the workspace and start creating.
Choose Long to Shorts
Inside the creator workspace, select Long to Shorts. A podcast can contain several great conversations. An interview can contain five answers that work on their own. A tutorial can contain multiple standalone lessons. Those moments already exist — the challenge is finding them.
Choose the Video You Want to Repurpose
For this test, we started with a long-form YouTube video. Instead of manually watching the entire source and writing down every interesting timestamp, copy the video link and bring it into AiMedia Clips.
Paste the Link. Click Once.
Paste the video link into Long to Shorts. You can also upload a local video file. Then hit Get clips in 1 click. You do not need to identify every timestamp before you begin.
Let AI Search for the Moments
AiMedia Clips begins processing the source and analyzing it for moments that can work as standalone clips. AI does not need to replace your creative judgment — it can remove some of the searching. You still decide what is interesting and what deserves to be published.
One Video Starts Becoming Multiple Pieces of Content
Once processing finishes, the results appear. Highlight Collections can organize selected moments into longer compilations for review. Preview the results and choose the content you actually want.
See the Same Video as Individual Shorts
AiMedia Clips displays generated Individual Clips vertically and provides a viral-potential ranking to help prioritize what you may want to review first. It is a sorting signal, not a guarantee of virality.
This Changes the Content Equation
Creators often think 1 long video = 1 piece of content. But a podcast can become several Shorts, a tutorial can become educational clips, and an interview can become individual answers.
You are not necessarily creating more. You are getting more from what you have already created.
AI Shouldn’t Replace Your Judgment
The goal is not to blindly publish whatever AI creates. A better workflow keeps the creator in control.
AI reduces repetitive searching. You still understand your audience and choose what is actually worth publishing.
Stop Asking “What Should I Create Next?”
Try asking: “What have I already created that I haven’t fully used?” Your old podcast, interview, webinar, or tutorial may still contain Shorts, Reels, and TikToks worth publishing.
The Whole Workflow in One Line
Not replacing creators. Not promising every clip will go viral. Just making it faster to move from “I have a long video” to “I have clips I can work with.”
Your Next Short Might Already Exist.
